We were approached by Luigi Bormioli to refine their brand position and web presence based on our experience within the tabletop industry. Luigi Bormioli is renown worldwide as a leader in the glassmaking industry and was seeking a refined web site that promotes their product offerings and brand to a United States audience. We knew we had to separate Luigi Bormioli from its competition by highlighting the quality of their products, materials and design, as well as illustrating the way products work together within a collection. In addition, for reasons including SEO and compatibility, we needed HTML - but we also wanted to maintain some level of interactivity. To achieve this, we partnered with Ian Coyle who brought a high level of interactivity to the project using jQuery and JavaScript. The result is a clean, simple site that makes product browsing intuitive, memorable and most importantly, fun. The site won a Bronze Cube in the Interactive category at the Art Directors Club 88th Annual Awards.
